TA7 (Ti-5Al-2.5Sn) is a near-alpha titanium alloy with medium strength, excellent thermal stability, and good creep resistance up to 450°C. It features low density, high specific strength, outstanding weldability, and good ductility. It offers reliable corrosion resistance in seawater, chlorides, and mild corrosive environments, and performs well at both elevated and cryogenic temperatures. Non-heat-treatable and used in annealed condition, it is widely used in aerospace, cryogenic systems, and high-temperature structural components.
